meet your photographer
I'm a big nature and animal girlie, which is why most of my photography is outdoors, and I'm always game to have your best animal buddy in the photos with you!
I grew up in Grey County, out in the country, and that's where I'm happiest!
I love a good long walk, the beach, my bunny Snoopy, sparkling wine, travelling and pretty much anything that lets me make something with my hands.
I think all of that finds its way into my photography somehow. I'm endlessly curious about people and places, I notice the little things, and I genuinely love getting to know the people in front of my camera.
I've always been a creative person. If I'm not taking photos, I'm probably drawing, painting, crafting or dreaming up something new to make. Photography became another way for me to create, and I love that it gave me a way to freeze the little moments between people that would otherwise be gone in a second.
That's still my favourite part of what I do! I love getting to photograph love in all the different ways it shows up: between you and the person you're marrying, your new little baby, a family that's grown and changed over the years, or even you and the pet who's basically another member of the family.
I want your photos to feel beautiful, but I also want them to feel like you. There's usually a little movement, a little playfulness and plenty of room for things to unfold naturally. I'm pretty laid-back behind the camera, and especially on wedding days, I never want photography to make you feel rushed or like you're being pulled away from actually enjoying what's happening. My job is to make you feel comfortable, give you direction when you need it and let you forget about the camera when you don't.

I was actually homeschooled growing up, and spent my childhood and early adult years travelling all over the world. I’ve been lucky enough to visit more than 42 countries, and seeing new places will probably always be one of my favourite things. Here are a few of the more recent places I have loved. I’ll happily pack my camera and travel for your story, too.
